CAZ says Goodbye to Managing Director Taylor Cochrane

TaylorIt is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our current Managing Director, Taylor Cochrane. We wish her the best of luck as she begins a new journey in her life.
Taylor began her career with USTA Central Arizona while earning her undergraduate degree at Arizona State University, as she founded and organized the first official USTA Tennis on Campus team. Working hand in hand with the district and the university, she recruited players, organized practices and tournaments and ran the club successfully for the remainder of her time at the university. Upon graduation in 2009, she began as the Community Tennis Manager of USTA Central AZ, tasked with managing the QuickStart After School Program. Since then, the program has grown to include eleven school districts, forty-five schools and around 2000 participants. In April 2010, when the past Managing Director, Geoffrey Russell, moved on to begin his job with USTA National, Taylor was appointed as the Interim Managing Director and finally, the Managing Director in October. She has done a wonderful job in organizing the office, building QuickStart programs around the Phoenix Valley and representing Central Arizona. Moving on, Taylor hopes to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant, and is currently applying for acceptance.
“My leaving is a very bittersweet time,” says Taylor. “While I am very excited about my new goals and future, I am sad to leave Central Arizona. This job has been truly invaluable, as I have learned many new skills and met some really wonderful people. I know I will always continue to be involved in some way.”
Please join me in wishing Taylor much happiness and continued success. We know she will do well.
