Tournament Information

Important Information
Notes have been posted below which provide all of the information players need to know about the tournament. Please read this information before entering the tournament. ALL PLAYERS must complete a Player Information/Release Form and fax it to 480-951-6041 by December 12th before they can play in the tournament. To obtain a copy, please follow the link (more info) to the USTA Central Arizona website, Winter National Championships, and download the form.
More information to come in the next few weeks.

Attention Players/Parents:
Tournament Players must enter contact information each time they register for a tournament. Due to a new policy from the USTA legal department, Tournament Directors no longer have access to phone numbers and email addresses of tournament participants unless the player has entered this information when they register for the tournament.

This means that if a player does not enter their phone and email information, a Tournament Director cannot contact them for any reason, including withdrawals, defaults, byes, rain delays, etc.

The only way to ensure that the Tournament Director has this information is for the player/parent to enter it when registering. We appreciate all of our player's/parent’s cooperation with this issue so that the tournament can continue to communicate necessary information to you.

Option to Enter Up to Two USTA Winter National Championships Age Divisions
The USTA Regulations allow a player to enter more than one age division of a USTA National Championship. If you want to play the Winter Nationals, but aren't sure if you will get in, you may now enter up to two age divisions. In the past, players had to make up their mind at the time of entry and if they entered and didn't get into the older division, they were left playing no tournament at all.

When tournament selection is done, players will be selected for the 18s age division of USTA Winter National Championship first. If you are selected for the 18 Winter Nationals, you will not be selected into the 16s age division. If you are not selected for the 18s Winter Nationals, you will only be considered for selection into the 16s age division and you will only be eligible to be an alternate in the 16s age division. This is an important thing to consider before entering - if you enter two divisions, are not accepted into the older division, you can only be an alternate in the younger division.

Boys' 18 & Girls' 18 Winners
USTA Winter National Championships will be awarding Wild Cards to:

Boys’ 18’s Singles Champion - Singles Main Draw USTA Men’s Futures Events Girls’ 18’s Singles Champion - Singles Main Draw USTA Women’s 10K Events

The winning players will work with the USTA Junior Competition/Player Development to find the appropriate tournaments.
