All About TennisThe country's largest competitive tennis league, USTA League Tennis provides organized, competitive team matches for players of all ability levels. The Phoenix area offers Adult, Senior, Super Senior and Mixed Leagues. For information on any league, call 480-951-4333 or email Linda@PhoenixTennis.com.

League play lets you experience team camaraderie and gives you the opportunity to meet new people in your area as well as in other parts of the country. Keep practicing, keep winning, and you may travel beyond your local league and compete in area, sectional, and national championships.

Every League team member must be a member of the United States Tennis Association (USTA), and must have a National Tennis Rating Program (NTRP) rating. There is a $25.00 local fee for each League in which you play. Check the website frequently for detailed and updated information!

USTA LEAGUE TENNIS FOR MIXED DOUBLES - Players must be 19 years old or over in the current year. Levels of play--6.0, 7.0, 8.0, 9.0, 10.0 and Open--are determined by combining the NTRP levels of each player. For instance, a 4.0 woman and a 4.0 man would play together in the 8.0 league. Or, a 3.5 player could play with a 4.5 player in the same 8.0 league. A team match consists of three mixed doubles. The winning teams on the local level advance to an Area Playoff. Area winners advance to the Sectional Championship and Sectional winners to the Regional Championship.
