Ladies Night at CTCA Tourney in Surprise, Oct. 9

Ladies - grab your girlfriends and head to the Surprise Recreation Campus - Tennis and Racquet Complex on Friday, October 9 at 5pm for an opportunity to watch professional tennis, relax with your friends in an all you can eat and drink VIP Champions Club and meet some of tennis’ biggest names! Ladies Night is a special promotion going on now for the 2nd Annual Cancer Treatment Centers of America Tennis Championships in Surprise, presented by Sanderson Volvo.

The Cancer Treatment Centers of America Tennis Championships, which will be held October 8-11, is the seventh of eight official stops on the 2009 Outback Champions Series, the global tennis circuit for champion tennis players age 30 and over. Tennis legends Andre Agassi, 61 career titles (8 Grand Slams) and the only player to achieve the "Golden Slam"; Mats Wilander, 40 career titles (8 Grand Slams) and the youngest man in history to win four grand slams by the age of 20; Jim Courier, 29 career titles (4 Grand Slams); Wayne Ferreira, 26 career titles and holds the male record for most consecutive Grand Slam appearances; Mark Philippoussis, Wimbledon and US Open finalist; Jimmy Arias, at age 15 the youngest player to achieve a world ranking, Aaron Krickstein, 9 career titles and the youngest player to reach the world Top 10 at age 17; and Mikael Pernfors, French Open Finalist, will compete for $150,000 in the eight player single-knock-out event.

The City of Surprise Community and Recreation Services Department will be offering a special discounted price of $90 which will include a silver level ticket to Session 2 of the tournament and a special Meet and Greet. Ladies Night also allows you VIP access into the Outback Champions Club where all you can eat first-class food and an open bar set the atmosphere for a perfect Ladies Night Out!
