Team Southwest recently competed at the CTC Regional Challenge in St. Louis.
A group of 16 boys and girls from USTA Southwest competed recently at an intersectional team competition, the USTA Competition Training Center (CTC) Regional Challenge. The three-day event was held May 1-3, at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis, Mo., and included three other USTA Sections - Texas, Midwest and Missouri Valley.

The event brought together some of the top young juniors from each of those sections, giving these junior players the chance to see and compete against the best from across the nation in a team matchplay format that included boys and girls singles and doubles, as well as mixed doubles.

USTA Southwest finished third out of the four teams, but the experience of traveling and competing was invaluable for all these young juniors. Sixty-four total competitiors (32 boys, 32 girls) in the 12's and 14's divisions participated at the CTC Regional Challenge.
